Tirau is a vibrant little town set in the South Waikato amongst some of New Zealand's most fertile farmland.Welcome to Tirau

Three main roads pass through this small town which boasts a large variety of unique shops, cafes and restaurants, popular as a destination with  both overseas tourists and passing motorists.

Regular events are held are the “Weekend of Workshops” (Tirau WoW), Tirau Footpath Gallery Project (Artists painting in the streets), “Art in the Garden” and Markets.
