Tirau is a vibrant little town set in the South Waikato amongst some of New Zealand's most fertile farmland.Welcome to Tirau

Three main roads pass through this small town which boasts a large variety of unique shops, cafes and restaurants, popular as a destination with  both overseas tourists and passing motorists.

Regular events are held are the Tirau Footpath Gallery Project (Artists painting in the streets), “Art in the Garden” and Markets.
